For safer and more accurate drilling, the DELTA 20-622 4-inch Drill Press Vise lets you clamp the materials you're working on securely to your workbench. With a quick release that lets you adjust to various sized workpieces with a quick and simple sliding of a tightening screw, you'll be able to get things done faster. A final tightening can be done with a turn of the crank handle. The vise features cast iron construction, and has slots so you can mount it to drill press tables. The jaws of the vise are 4-inch wide, and are pre-drilled for auxiliary jaw plates.

Holds the work like it should, but requires a second pair of hands to adjust the position on it.
After reading most of the reviews on this product I chose to buy it. This gave me an indefinate range to locate the vise. Despite the complaints of the vise not fitting their drill press, I took into consideration the positive reviews also. I am one to make things work and did so by mounting the vise with two carraige bolts and wing nuts at diagonal to the table slots of my Delta DP300L. I fastened hardwood blocks to the jaw faces with #10 flat head machine screws which I can replace with taller cheeks if the stock requires. A good product at a fair price and I like the quick release feature.
While you can twist it around to get a few bolts in, that is a compromise you shouldn't have to make. Does it work. Pretty well, unless you are wanting to bolt it down to the drill press it was made for. Delta screwed up royally on this. I don't own another (yet) to recommend, but if you have a choice - pass on this one.
I looked at unbranded vises and their castings were rough and action was awful. I added a couple small hardwood jaw blocks held with #6 screws from behind and it is good to go.The other commenters giving bad reviews for the mounting holes not lining up don't make sense to me. This Delta branded vises is probably also made overseas but with Delta QC it is a nice little vise. The quick release is weighted and lets you push the jaw and snug it up with a half twist. I leave it free floating on the drill press since each different drilling operation needs the vise moved. I will just turn it at an angle to get a couple bolts through for heavy or repetative work.
This press is the worst. It does not fit the drill press it was designed for. The mounting holes do not line up.
